Ellen Sylvas Tillman passed away on Friday morning, March 25, 2022 at the age of 80.  Ellen was born on October 16, 1941, in Slidell, Louisiana to the late Rudy Bernard Sylvas and Luverta Pichon Sylvas.  She is preceded in death by her sisters; Shirley Sylvas, and Linda Cousin, her brothers; Ronald Sylvas, Julius Sylvas, Manual Sylvas, Lionel Sylvas and Tony Sylvas.

Ellen is survived by her Loving Husband Jimmy Dale Tillman of 53 years, her daughters; Malissa Pierre (Tyrone) and Jami Ducre (Norman "Goo"), her sister Laura Sylvas and her brothers Norris Sylvas (Gwen) and Dennis Sylvas (Sharon).  Ellen has six grands, twenty-two great grands, and two great great grands.  She is also survived by a host of god children, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Services will be held at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, 2445 Fourth Street, Slidell, Louisiana 70458 on Friday, April 8, 2022.  Visitation:  9:00am to 10:30am.  Services:  11:00am to 12:30pm.
