Poleate Baham Jr. age 99 passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, at his home. Poleate is husband of late Yvonne Faciane Baham. Son of the late Poleate Sr. and Albertine Sylvas Baham. Father of Joan, Gary, Trudy (George), Lillian (Jerry), Yvonne (Troy), Paulette (Greg), Lawanna (Michael), Brother of Curtis (Brenda). Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 21great-grandchildren, 5 Sisters- in-law and 1 Brother-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by parents, brothers John and Julius Baham, Bruce Ray, Sisters Inez B. Lawrence, Dorothy B. Dines, and Theresa B. Balancier, daughter Baby Baham and son-in-law George Mills. He was a native and resident of Slidell, Louisiana.

Visitation on Wednesday November 12, 2025, at St. Genevieve Catholic Church, 58203 LA-433 Slidell LA 70460 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. Rosary at 10:15 am. Followed by a Mass. Interment at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery Slidell, LA at 1:30pm.
